Today we’re introducing The X Subscription, which brings together Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor, and X Premium in one plan. Over the next few days, we’ll make it available to everyone globally.
For the first time, one AI subscription supports the full path from thinking and creating to building and sharing.
Paid plans on The X Subscription include a generous pool of Grok model usage shared across Grok and Cursor. Each comparable new tier provides more usage-per-dollar than the plan it replaces.
Your shared pool covers Grok models whether you use them in the Grok apps, the Grok tab on X, or Cursor. Each X Subscription plan includes at least twice as much coding usage with our models as the comparable Cursor plan. With the new plans, third-party models are still available in Cursor on Premium and above. Usage is billed separately at API list prices, through top-ups.

We’re also rolling out the option to switch for existing SuperGrok, Cursor, and X Premium subscribers. You’ll see it in your account billing settings when it’s available to you. You can keep your current plan, or switch and get a prorated refund for your old plan.
The X Subscription gives you Grok, Cursor, and X for roughly what a comparable standalone plan for one of those products used to cost.

Team users get Premium, Super, and Ultra on The X Subscription at the same per-seat prices as individual plans. That's priced lower per seat than older Cursor Teams but now includes 3x more coding usage, plus SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, usage analytics, and SOC 2 compliance.

No, you can use X with its own login. The X Subscription Free plan provides access across Grok, Cursor, and X. With this plan, you get daily access to Grok Chat, Imagine, Voice, and Build, plus a starter allowance for coding agents. Paid plans add more usage, faster access, and additional features.
Yes. You can cancel anytime, and you’ll keep access to your benefits through the end of your billing period.

You can spend your entire usage pool on any one product, and because Grok and Cursor draw from one pool, whatever you don’t use in one is available for the other.
Subscribe at x.ai/pricing or switch from an existing Grok, Cursor, or X subscription through your account billing settings. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Switching now comes with upgrade offers, and you can see yours in your billing settings. Manage billing, change plans, or cancel from the same place.
Nothing changes today. Your existing plan, price, and features continue exactly as they are. The previous plans are no longer available for new sign-ups. The X Subscription is now the option for new customers.
You don’t have to wait, though. Switching today comes with upgrade offers.
Go to your billing settings and you’ll see the option to upgrade to The X Subscription. It walks you through linking your X, Grok, and Cursor accounts, then recommends the best plan based on what you have today. If you decide to upgrade, your current plans end with a prorated refund for the unused time, and your new subscription starts right away.
No. Your current plan stays as it is, and you can upgrade to The X Subscription anytime. We expect most customers to upgrade on their own for the added value. Eventually we’ll move any remaining customers to the new plans, but there’s no timeline yet, and we’ll give advance notice before anything changes.
The new plans include substantially more usage of SpaceXAI models. Third-party models are still available in Cursor on X Premium and higher tiers, billed separately at API list prices via top-ups. You only pay for what you use, and you can set spending caps to control costs.
If you’re on a current Cursor plan, your included third-party usage continues until you switch to The X Subscription.
Every tier on The X Subscription includes a pool of AI usage shared across Grok and Cursor. Within Grok, the pool covers Chat, Imagine, Voice, and Grok Bot. Higher tiers include larger pools, and usage costs vary by product. Your allowance refreshes weekly, so one heavy day never wipes out your whole month.
If you reach your included usage, you can keep going with top-offs, or wait for your allowance to refresh. You’ll always see your remaining usage in settings.
You keep every day you paid for. Your annual term runs through its end date, unless you choose to upgrade. You can keep your current plan through the end of its term. Any future change will take effect only at renewal, with advance notice.
Yes. Team plans cost the same per seat as individual plans at $30, $100, or $200, with the same included usage per seat. They also include organization-level controls such as SSO, role-based access, consolidated billing, usage analytics, and SOC 2 compliance. You can start on an individual plan and move to a team plan as more people join. And if your team is on Cursor today, the new plans cost less per seat and include more usage than the old Cursor Teams plans.
