These Referral Program Terms ("Program Terms") apply to the X Subscription referral program (the "Program") offered by X Subscription Corp ("we", "us", "our").These Program Terms apply to Referrers and to Friends who use a Referral Link. Some sections apply only to Referrers or only to Friends, as stated. By sharing a Referral Link, or by starting a trial through one, you agree to these Program Terms. They add to the X-Subscription Consumer Terms (the "Consumer Terms") and the Subscription Terms (the "Subscription Terms"). If these Program Terms conflict, these Program Terms control for the Program only.
To be a Referrer, you must:
X Subscription Plus plans, team or enterprise seats, and plans billed through Apple or Google cannot refer at this time. We may expand eligibility to other countries by updating these Program Terms, and to other plans as described above. We may also offer the Program in stages, or to some eligible users and not others.
If you stop meeting these requirements, your Referral Link stops accepting new Referral Trials.
A Friend must:
Each person can receive one Referral Trial, ever. If a Friend has more than one Referral Link, the one used at checkout applies. A person who does not meet these requirements will see our standard plans and offers.
The Referral Trial gives the Friend 14 days of X Premium free. A payment card is required, and nothing is charged at checkout.
Unless the Friend cancels before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically and the card is charged the price shown at checkout (plus applicable tax), and every month after that until cancelled. The Friend can cancel at any time in account settings. We will show the first charge date and amount at checkout, send an email confirmation with cancellation instructions, and send a reminder before the first charge.
If the Friend changes plans during the trial, the trial ends and the new plan is charged at that time. A Referral Trial has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be combined with other trials or offers. Purchases made in the iOS or Android app stores do not qualify.
A Referrer earns one Reward for each Friend who:
The Reward is one usage reset, which restores your included usage for the current usage period as described in the product. Each Reward expires 6 months after it is added.
Hold period. A Reward shows as pending when the Friend's first payment succeeds. We add it to your account at the end of the hold period, which is currently 7 days, if the conditions above are still met and you still have an active eligible plan under Section 2. Otherwise the pending Reward is cancelled. We may change the hold period, or require a later successful payment before a Reward is added, by updating these Program Terms or by showing the change in the product, on the Referral Link page, or in your account settings. A change applies only to referrals that start after we post or show it.
Rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any other benefit, and are not wages or compensation for services. We may delay a Reward while we review eligibility.
There is currently no limit on the number of Friends you can refer or Rewards you can earn. We may set or change a monthly or overall limit at any time by updating these Program Terms or by showing the limit in the product, on the Referral Link page, or in your account settings. A limit applies only to referrals that start after we post or show it, and does not affect pending Rewards or Rewards already added to your account except for referrals or Rewards that break these Program Terms, which remain subject to Section 8.
You may share your Referral Link privately or publicly, including on your own social media. When you share it publicly, you must clearly disclose that you get a reward if someone subscribes (for example, "I get a reward if you subscribe"). Do not remove the disclosure from our pre-filled share text.
You must not:
You must follow all laws that apply to your sharing, including advertising disclosure and anti-spam laws.
We use signals such as account, X account, card, device, email domain, IP address, and payment risk to check eligibility and prevent abuse. We may block a sign-up or checkout, ask for more information, or hold Rewards for review.
If we reasonably believe that you or a Friend broke these Program Terms or acted fraudulently, we may cancel pending Rewards, remove unused Rewards, disable or replace your Referral Link, and remove you from the Program. We may also take any action allowed by the Subscription Terms.
If a Friend's first payment is refunded or charged back within 120 days, we may cancel the related pending Reward or remove any unused part of an added Reward. We will not charge you for any part of a Reward you have already used.
If your account is closed or suspended, or your plan ends, any pending or unused Rewards are forfeited unless the law requires otherwise.
We may change, suspend, or end the Program, or these Program Terms, at any time, in all countries or some, by posting an update at this page. Changes apply from the date posted or a later date stated in the update and do not reduce Rewards already added to your account. Referral Trials already started continue under the terms in effect when they started, and we will add Rewards earned before the Program ends.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to a Reward. We may collect tax information or report Rewards where the law requires.
We process personal data for the Program as described in our Privacy Policy, including to run referrals, prevent fraud, and send Program notices. We may show a Friend your name or X handle on the Referral Link page . We may tell you when a Friend starts a trial and the status of your Reward, and we may show you the Friend's email address (which may be partly hidden) or X handle so you can see which referrals are yours. If you are a Friend, by using a Referral Link you agree to these Program Terms and to us sharing this information with the Referrer.
Only share your Referral Link with people you expect to welcome it.
The Program is part of the X Subscription. The Subscription Terms, including their billing, cancellation, and refund terms, apply to Referral Trials and to any subscription that follows. The Consumer Terms apply to your use of the Service, including any Reward. You take part as an individual. Nothing in these Program Terms makes you our employee, agent, or partner.
The disclaimers, indemnification, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, arbitration, and governing law terms in the Consumer Terms and the Subscription Terms apply to the Program. Your participation in the Program, including how you share your Referral Link, is use of the Service under the Consumer Terms. The Program is void where prohibited. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. If any term is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
