Overview

xAI is committed to respecting your safety and privacy on Grok. We prohibit the publication, sharing, or distribution of non-consensual intimate photos or videos. This includes real photographs and videos as well as synthetically generated content - images or videos created or altered using artificial intelligence or other tools - that depict an identifiable individual in an intimate or sexual context without that person's consent.

We maintain a clear, easy-to-use notice-and-removal process for anyone affected by such content, including content in conversations, generated images, or any other part of the Grok platform. This page provides information about our removal process and how to submit a report.

What type of content can I report?

You can report generated, uploaded, or shared photos or videos that show intimate imagery or sexually explicit acts if such content was generated, captured, appears to have been captured, or that was shared without the consent of the identifiable individuals involved.

Examples of the types of content include, but are not limited to:

  • Generated content that portrays identifiable individuals in intimate or sexually explicit settings without their consent;
  • Hidden camera content featuring nudity, partial nudity, and/or sexual acts;
  • Creepshots or upskirts - images or videos taken of people's buttocks, up an individual's skirt/dress or other clothes that allow people to see the person's genitals, buttocks, or breasts; or
  • Images or videos that are taken in an intimate setting and not intended for public distribution.

How can I report violations of this policy?

In-App / Desktop

  1. Navigate to the Grok Chat or Grok Imagine link that contains the content you want to report by:

    • Clicking on the title of the chat on the Grok sidebar;
    • Clicking the image in the Grok Imagine Dashboard; or
    • Clicking the URL that contains the public link to the content.

  2. Tap the three dots (...) at the bottom of the content that you would like to report.

  3. Press Report Issue.
  4. Select Non-consensual intimate content.

  5. Fill out the form, including a brief description of why you believe the content contains a non-consensual intimate photo or video of you or someone that you are authorized to represent.

You do not need a Grok or xAI account to submit a report. Users without an account can report via https://grok.com/report-issue/non-consensual-intimate-content.

What happens after I submit a request?

Upon receipt of a valid removal request, we will:

  • Remove violative, reported intimate photos or videos as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after receiving the request.
  • Notify you of the outcome.
