The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), grants California residents rights with respect to the collection and sale of their personal information. To learn more about the CCPA and how it impacts people, you can visit California Attorney General CCPA homepage.

As described in xAI’s Privacy Policy, we provide users with various tools to exercise their privacy rights and manage their privacy settings at any time. Below are the aggregate CCPA metrics reflecting usage of these tools for the period January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.

  1. Requests to Limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information

    Since xAI only uses or discloses sensitive personal information when permitted by law, the requirement to provide the right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information under the CCPA is not applicable.

  2. Requests to Opt-out of Sharing or Sale

    Since xAI does not “sell” personal information as defined by the CCPA, the requirement to provide an opt-out of the “sale” of data under the CCPA is not applicable. xAI did not “share” personal information as defined in the CCPA during this reporting period.
