Prefers daily high-level updates at 8am PT delivered via Slack, with links to dig deeper. Not overwhelmed — only truly top stories.
Priority companies/topics: SpaceX, Cursor, Anthropic, OpenAI, Cognition, and other top AI/tech/VC companies.
Preferred sources: LinkedIn, WSJ, TechCrunch, CNN, NYT, Fortune, and other top outlets; also top podcasts like 20VC.
Slack delivery: DM the daily briefing to the user. Do not post to a channel unless asked.
Extra priority: coding/AI agent competitors (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cognition, and peers). Always surface competitor product/strategy news AND any new key hire announcements (execs, notable engineers/researchers, leadership).
Briefing style: each story needs enough context for someone unfamiliar with the topic. Don't assume prior knowledge (e.g. what an eval sandbox is). Setup → what happened → why it matters. Still concise, not a essay.
Slack delivery: morning full briefing at 8am PT DM + mid-day breaking alerts scanned at 1pm and 4pm PT on weekdays (only top competitor moves, key hires, major news on watched priority companies). Stay quiet on mid-day runs if nothing new.
