At x.ai, we’re building an artificial intelligence powered personal assistant. As Account Executive, you’ll be bringing the x.ai Business edition to market! You’ll be working with customers across industries to build long-lasting relationships and sell their organizations on the value of working with our AI assistant. As one of the founding members of the sales team, you’ll need to be flexible and adaptive so that we grow and scale our processes and business together.

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle sales role with responsibility for building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective and current customers
  • Evaluate opportunities with the account manager to increase customer happiness, sales, and retention
  • Takes an active interest in growing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
  • Deliver product demos, provide insightful technical answers, and recommend creative ways to get the most out of x.ai/business
  • Work cross-functionally with our customer acquisition teams, account management, customer success and product teams.
  • Help scale processes including lead generation, presentation, negotiation etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in the $10K to $50K ACV range
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful history of business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets

At x.ai, we believe everyone deserves a helpful artificial intelligence assistant to give you back the hours spent in meeting scheduling ping-pong. We are building AI personal assistants (Amy and Andrew) that schedule meetings for you. This is a yet unsolved problem within AI, and a formidable technical challenge.

Our team of linguists, data scientists, AI trainers, interaction designers, and engineers has spent over 3 years building powerful, fundamental technology to allow us to solve the meeting scheduling problem. Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute new email marketing campaigns to drive customer growth
  • Convert free users into paying, happy customers
  • Copywriting efforts across email campaigns to establish a brand voice
  • Manage email re-marketing campaigns to re-engage and resurface inactive customers
  • Pull monthly reporting metrics to reflect email performance

Qualifications:

Who you are

You have experience selling software. Also, you have taken an inbound-sales driven, SaaS startup from the ground floor to scale ($1M to $10M+ ARR.) Deal size between $10k and $100k ARR with a relatively quick sales cycle are your sweet spots. After having that experience under your belt, you want to do it faster, better and bigger this time around. You are excited by what we do and are ready to build upon the enthusiasm of our customer base. You are a closer and will roll up your sleeves for major deals. More importantly, you excel at building a repeatable sales machine from scratch. You will put together systems and processes as you crystallize the playbook with the founders. Recruiting and training are part of your core strengths. You know exactly which two or three sales reps you will bring onboard when you are ready.
