What do you enjoy most about your job? Best part?
I get to talk to the smartest sales professionals in the world every day. They say if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room. Well, I am creating the world’s smartest virtual room of sales knowledge… and I’m the dumbest person in it. It’s an amazing opportunity and a humbling one.
Not the “worst,” but more the biggest challenge: keeping things fresh. Always trying to up my game.
What type of meetings are you having? How many?
About 20-30 per month. But it depends. I have been known to set almost that many in a single week over an extended period of time.
How do you introduce Amy/Andrew to new people?
I say “Hi so-and-so, let’s talk at (general time frame—i.e. next week, later this week, etc). Amy will arrange.” And that’s it!
Any Pro-Tips you’d recommend to Amy’s other bosses?
Store a conference call number! Even though Amy will do it for you, each piece of information you need from your prospect is a bottleneck. Just get the date and time set and, assuming it’s a call, just say “Amy, please use my conference line,” and then the prospect immediately has a conference line provided. Speek is a good free option for small groups here.
